When I write reviews I try to be as fair as possible so that viewers can make an informed decision as to whether or not to visit. Lawry's was next on the list for our monthly "Girl's Night Out". The first of my friends to arrive reported that it took 7 minutes for the gal at the front desk to assist her and another 8 minutes at the bar to be acknowledged. Keep in mind this was a Wednesday evening and not crowded, plus we'd had reservations. Not good. Service improved dramatically once we were seated. Max took care of our table and shared a lot of information about Lawry's rich history. We're used to spending about $150 each at restaurants but our tab was a hefty $250 each probably due to our wine choices. We did order two bottles of wine. I ordered the prime rib, spinning bowl salad (see video) which was good and the cream corn...delicious. I don't know that I'll return to this restaurant but if you like steak and the classic dark decor of traditional steakhouses, you may want to check it out.

If you love Prime Rib, this is the place to go!! I had the “Lawry’s Cut” (10 ounces) and it was plenty big. The lobster deviled eggs were interesting also. They have some great happy hour prices 4:00-7:00 Monday - Thursday also. I love the Prime Rib cart where they carve it to order table side. We will be back for sure.

Travis our server, Gabriel his assistant. Carlos master carver on the cart. all took care of us. Travis was very attentive and explained everything to us since this was our first time in. Even took it the extra mile and surprised us with the cake at the end. It happened to be our 10th anniversary we were celebrating. I hope to cross paths with Travis again he was the best!
